Laine’s Life-Saving Reclining Chair

I don’t know about you, but when my son turned 7 months old he became insanely active. He was too big for his bassinet and his infant carrier, and when I strapped him into the bouncy seat he turned his whole body over and almost flipped the whole thing. (And he was only 16 pounds!) Basically, I had nowhere to put him for a quick second while I prepared his food or, god forbid, ran to the bathroom. So I went online and found the best chair ever. It’s The First Years Reclining 4-Stage Feeding Seat. It’s really supposed to be a portable high chair that you strap onto a regular chair, but Lucas uses it as kind of a baby Lay-Z-Boy. I strap him in there and he is totally comfortable–-he plays and just hangs and doesn’t want to come out. I have been feeding him in there lately too because sometimes it’s just easier than getting him to sit in the regular high chair. Anyway, this is supposed to last through toddler-hood and I can’t recommend it highly enough for older babies who are active.
