Washing Stuffed Animals

Oooh, I thought this advice was super helpful for washing those dearly loved loveys.
Wash the stuffed animal in a white or neutral pillowcase tied shut with a shoelace (remember those?) Clean with a mild detergent like Woolite and wash on the gentle cycle. Toss your pillowcase (still sealed) into the dryer and the animals will come out looking new! (Just beware: some of the animals might come out a little funny looking or misshapen- especially those made of wool or mohair or tightly stuffed creatures). For those, give them a sponge bath with a damp sponge and mild soap. Or just vaccum the stuffed animals. (I am reluctant to do the last bit as my vacuum cleaner is disgusting and is mainly used for things I won’t touch like spiders, centipedes and the other unsavory creatures that like to play in our apartment.)

Love that picture of the monkey hanging from the tree, thanks for the idea for cleaning stuffed toys.
