I like the title of this event, "Toddler Island Party", it makes me think of Lord of the Flies or Babes in Toyland, but in reality it is an event put on my Music For Brooklyn (www.musicforbrooklyn.com).  On Thursday, August 23rd they are holding a dance party for kids, nannies and parents from 10 am to 12 pm.  They will have live drummers and dancers, drum circles, guided dance activities with shakers, bells and parachutes. It is the best of movement/music classes built in a party setting. Snack and drinks are free for your $20 admission.
Held at SODA at 629 Vanderbilt at St. Marks Ave. $20 for one child, $30 for two. Accompanying adults are free.
