Today, when my husband and I did a handoff of Birch- I also get handed the diaper bag. Well, not really a diaper bag (at least not the one we have), but a makeshift one that my husband had made from his messenger bag. I guess our regular diaper bag was too bulky and too flowery for him. This reminded me of these cool, small diaper bags I saw last month at a trade fair. They are called Mini Diaper Dudes- see photos up top. I met Diaper Dude (yes, he is a real person) and he has a ton of designs- including this hip cammo one and others in plenty of solid colors. There are also full-size diaper bags, bottle holders, stroller straps and onesies. What I like about the mini bag is that is has 2 bottle holders (one for him, one for baby), large zippered compartment for diaper and wipes, 2 extra compartments for snacks/pacifier and it can be worn over the shoulder or around the waist.
