This is a very bad thing
How do you know how sane the poster is? Could just be a sad lonely with way too much time on their hands (as a former nanny who met many others the complaints are always the same its usually someone who has no real clue what actually going on and doesn't really care but have no problem causing conflict).
My question is this what was your kid doing while you were paying so much attention to this unharmed child that instead of thinking you interupted a hide and seek game gone bad it just has to be a case of abuse

I think that the "I saw your nanny" blog IS helpful, since it only exposes Nannies who are egregiously not fulfilling their duties. I, as a parent, would like to know if my Nanny were misbehaving on the job, and the only way to know that is through the community. Since our offline communites nowadays are not as tight knit as they once were, the online community is one way to network.
