I wanted to start something new on a weekly basis. Pre-baby I went to the galleries about once a week- now, it is about once every three months. I really miss seeing art and being taken out of my element for awhile. So, I asked Brooklyn parent and artist Juliette Conroy if she would be willing to supply the art for 6 weeks- once a week so we could get a virtual gallery visit once a week. So, here is her first one. It is called Circus and here is Juliette:
As a mother who is also an artist it’s hard to fit work into a summer (no-school) schedule, so the best way was for me to share my work with my daughters. This photograph is the result of my daughters and I photographing our garden together. The wonderful thing about getting my eldest daughter a digital camera was that she and I could compare photos while shooting and she began to understand and become involved in what I do. P.S.
