Lab/Consultants for Miscarriages

Figure7
This is a hard subject to discuss, but so necessary. I recently spoke with my friend who, previous to her first child, had suffered multiple miscarriages and sadly, stillborns, but *hooray* is pregnant again! She is undergoing constant testing for this second pregnancy as she has an autoimmune issue while pregnant. She told me about a great lab that she and her doctor use to monitor her antibodies and that did the initial testing to determine why she had been miscarrying.  She and her doctor performed the suggested tests and sent the tests in to be evaluated.  Apparently the reason she was miscarrying accounts for 50% of miscarriages: immune mechanisms.  (see list below).  She and her OB/GYN are following a regime of testing and immune therapy and as it was successful for her first pregnancy, it has also been successful for her second so far.  Since it helped her, I thought it might help some of you out there. The lab’s web site is a wealth of information. Armed with these facts, it might help you to consider asking your OB/GYN if s/he has tested you for all these variables.

This is from their site:

can be devastating.
