Well, Park Slope is in the news again. Yesterday, the New York Times published an article about a man who valet parks strollers for those who use the Prospect Park YMCA in Park Slope.  These articles continue to make Park Slope seem like it is only occupied by stroller-toting families.

The comments on the article are fairly caustic- again. As another Park Slope article sited, “people love to hate Park Slope.”

Here is the article on the valet parker. I think it sounds like a really nice convenience, and nothing more.

  2. There’s also a stroller valet at the Coney Island aquarium where the dolphin shows are. Big deal.

  3. Why do people have a problem with strollers anyway? Strollers mean families. Families make good neighborhoods. Families make good business.

I wish there were more strollers in my neighborhood!
