Excellent article and advice. We live in a pre-war 350-sq-ft apartment and after looking at the options, decided to buy an apartment washing machine for around $300 and put it in our kitchen, next to our sink. It's great for cloth diapering and also for the endless flow of baby clothes. To dry, we installed two retractable drying racks above the radiator in our bedroom. Our BumGenius diapers are dry in about 6 hours.
