My son loves the Wiggles and the songs are so catchy that I find myself singing them all day. We also like Handy Manny
My daughter is 8 months and we love to watch The Backyardigans and Jacks Big Music Show. She loves both of the shows because of the music. I think that she would absolutely love Elmo Makes Music.
Is it wrong to have discovered MY favorite children’s show at the age of 40?
Growing up in the UK, I’d never heard of Sesame Street. My two daughters were both Barney and The Wiggles groupies so I never discovered Sesame Street with them.
My 2 1/2 year old son has become a huge Elmo fan and I’m so there with him!!!
My favorite episodes (is this getting a little worrying?!!) are the Dancing with Triangles (Dancing with the Stars spoof) which had James Blunt singing “Triangle” so sincerely and so beautifully. It absolutely cracked me up!
The Law and Order SVU spoof was equally fantastic.
I had no idea what I’d been missing all these years. I love how smart and funny the show is and that it makes parents actually WANT to sit and watch the show with their child.
I love how seriously the visiting guests take the show. They’ve obviously grown up with Sesame Street as a big part of their life and are so psyched to be a part of it.
I DVR’d the James Blunt episode and we watch it over and over again. And what’s really cool? My son learned the triangle shape from just this one episode.
We also love The Backyardigans but “I want Elmo, Mama” is my little guy’s most frequent request.
My almost three year old loves Little Bear and Franklin right now. I used to work in theatre so I am very curious to take him to some live shows. He is just starting to notice those commercials on tv.
My 4 year old loves Martha Speaks, Word Girl, Curious George, Cyber Chase and Sesame Street.
My 3rd old daughter loves Max & Ruby and Sesame Street. She loves Elmo
ohhh! I hope I’m not too late to enter…Balthazar would LOVE to go to see Elmo Live!
Right now, he loves watching Curious George and laughs hysterically while watching it. so cute. And his other favourite is Sesame Street.
My 3 yrs old son loves The Big Comfy Couch. Too bad I am at work when it airs, but he and a grandmother are having fun watching it.
My son is loving Super Why right now but my fave from when I was a kid was the Electric Company! I’m so glad it’s coming back! But my son would also LOVE to see Elmo Live!
My 1 yr old and I like Yo Gabba Gabba. When we watch, lots of dancing takes place in our living room.
My son still loves Peep and the Big Wide World. He’s almost 5, and has been watching it since he was 3, but surprisingly doesn’t mind watching the shows over and over again. Good thing, too, as they are funny (esp. Quack, the duck) and very educational.
