It is President’s Day, and maybe you have the day off of work or your child doesn’t have school. So, what to do?
- Check out our Google Calendar for daily events (it is at the top of the home page)- the Central Library has Story Play for example.
- Visit Ms. J’s in Williamsburg for some open tumbling time (and mat snoozing)
- Go to the Prospect Park Zoo and watch the sea lions feed
- Drop In Play at Families First
- Eat an organic meal and play at Mamalu’s in Williamsburg
- Bowl a set at Melody Lanes in Sunset Park (they open at 9 am!)
- The New York Hall of Science is open with special hours of 9:30 am-5 pm
- Do a walk-in craft at Spacecraft in Williamsburg (try beading, printmaking, sculpture or decorating)
- Make a button or build a cabin in celebration of President’s Day at the Brooklyn Museum
- Play at NYC Explorers from 9am to 5pm- either at their Prospect Heights location or BOCOCA location.
DON’T FORGET all those weekly events too that we have on our Event Picks.
