bdaycardBirch’s birthday is coming up and I wanted to make some invitations for it. It is kindof ridiculous since it will only be for family and a few friends, but I wanted to have a keepsake of his 3rd birthday. I ordered 12 cards and envelopes for $8 from Shutterfly.com. Of course the price goes WAY down when you order more. You can type text in, put 1 to 4 photos in and order this card in glossy or matte. I ordered in matte, so I will let you know what it looks like.

  1. A really cheap option is VistaPrint.com. Just google coupon codes and you can get half off their cards (and they have photo cards). You can create your own in Photoshop and upload it as well.

  2. I got them back and really like them EXCEPT: in order to put all the text on the invite I had to choose a font size of 10 point, which is really hard to see and I didn’t get to fit everything in I would have liked. It isn’t easy to handwrite any text on the invite either because it is photo paper and nothing I tried (Sharpie, photo pencil) worked on it.
