Just wanted to let you know about the fun street event on Vanderbilt Ave every Sunday in June. Vanderbilt Ave (in Prospect Heights) is closed to automobile traffic, from 12-5pm, from Park Pl – Dean St. There are a slew of great events and activities for all: live music, fashion shows, double dutch jump rope instruction, kids yoga, music for aardvarks, badmington and a lot of craft activities for kids. It is such a great community vibe and street festival feel without the tube soxs and papaya shakes!
