Mommy Poppins has a really nice list of farms where you can pick pumpkins and some of them also offer hay rides and petting farm animals.   She also has a list of apple orchards where you can pick apples out in Long Island. I would prefer to go apple picking myself, but I know Birch is all geared up to pick “the littlest pumpkin ever”.  We are going out to Long Island this Sunday to give one of them a try. I am not sure which one yet…I’ll post a review after we go.
