What the New Tribeca Pediatrics Office In Park Slope Looks Like

I know this isn’t news news since the opening of Tribeca Pediatrics with RealBirth (an excellent pregnancy, childbirth and parent education center) happened earlier this month in both Hell’s Kitchen and in Park Slope. However, today I was finally able to get into their new office to take a look. The office is, just like the other Tribeca Pediatrics outposts, really stylish with quality toys. Forget Fischer Price- this place has Habo, Plan Toys, an all-wood play kitchen and quality books- all from Rosie Hippo’s online store (which has now become one of my new favs to shop at.) The backroom where Realbirth holds its classes is super sleek with walnut painted floors. If you want a country doctor’s feel (like Heights’ favorite office of Dr. Brianne O’Connor, Dr. Edna Pytlak, Dr. Erin (Thelander) Dalton)- this isn’t for you. Otherwise, this is pretty much the bomb. The place IS small though. There are currently only 2 waiting rooms. They will be expanding into the garden with 2 more patients’ rooms and 2 more downstairs. (I didn’t see an elevator anywhere, so I’m not sure how great of a solution that will be.) The waiting room wasn’t very busy (2 moms) and the office personnel were nice. They let Willow play around, which she did by removing the baby dolls from their bed and putting her own head down. Ooops! Guess she was really tired! Do beware: there are one of those horse rides out front that all the kids clamor for. So, if you are going to go there, have a quarter in your pocket.
