Did You Participate in the Public PreK Lottery in 2008 or 2009?
Do you wish you had known more about the public preK lottery and how to navigate the application process? So do a lot of parents! We want to help them and hope that you will too!
If you filled out an application for the Public PreK lottery in 2008 and 2009 we need your input. Joyce Szuflita of www.nycschoohelp.com and we at www.achildgrowsinbrooklyn are collecting data from families that participated in the preK lottery. We need your anonymous answers. Your responses will give other parents the information they need to make appropriate choices. We want to determine: how many choices people made, whether they were successful or not, if families were able to find seats outside of their zone and whether they are happy with their public prek placements.
The survey is 13 questions and takes two minutes (REALLY!) to complete. The deadline is Dec. 18.
Thank you so much for helping your community by doing the survey. We will post the resultant data in January through our blogs. We think that you will be interested in the results too.
