The YMCA Park Slope Armory location
Yesterday we were with a friend who has been working hard on the opening of the new YMCA at Park Slope Armory. He couldn’t stop talking about the place: it has an 1/8 mile indoor track, 4 basketball and volleyball courts, cardio machines, strength training equipment, 20,000 square feet of group exercise space for classes such as: spinning, yoga, pilates, parent/child programs, karate, sports leagues and soccer.
Don’t get too excited- the facility isn’t actually open for use until January 30th, but starting tomorrow you can apply for membership. Monthly rates are $40 for adults and $72 for families.
