The Brooklyn Flea, which has been held indoors all winter at the stunning Williamsburgh Bank Building , will have both indoor and outdoor locations starting April 10th. The Flea will stay in the Williamsburg Savings Bank on Sundays and return to their outdoor location at the Ft. Greene school yard of Bishop Loughlin on Saturdays. There will no longer be a flea market in DUMBO, because as Brownstoner posted, ” construction along Water Street has created too many potential headaches for a regular market underneath the Brooklyn Bridge this year.”
The Brooklyn Flea will also take over at Central Park’s Summerstage. Brownstoner reported that they will have its usual delicious vendors there: one Red Hood Food Vendor, Asia Dog and newcomers Diner and Marlow & Sons from Williamsburg. Summerstage will be much more enjoyable with good food and beer available.
