Brooklyn has become known for its independent family music scene. Think: AudraRox, Dan Zanes, Astorgrass, Suzi Shelton, Gustafer Yellowgold and Randy Caplan. So, it makes sense that Kindiefest, the international family music conference/festival will take place here from April 30 through May 2.
Following two days of talks, panels and showcases around today’s family music market, Kindiefest will present a public festival on Sunday, May 2nd. The Kindiefest festival will feature Bill Harley, Recess Monkey, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo, Clementown, The Royal Order of Chords and Keys and Ralph Covert .
The Kindiefest conference was created to help artists, producers, labels, publicists, and more network about family entertainment.
If you aren’t in the biz, you can certainly get in for the public festival, which will cost you $15 a ticket.
