Playspace at Nairobi's Knapsack

Nothing says spring like a refill on my Nasonex prescription and an overwhelming desire to GET ORGANIZED.  If your apartment is bursting at the seams with clothes and toys your kids have outgrown, swap them out for stuff you need at Nairobi’s Knapsack this Saturday.  Gently used infant and children’s clothing sizes 0 to 8 years, small toys and books are welcome.  Clothes must be clean, in good condition, free of stains and pet hair.  Courtesy people!  Giveaways and refreshments while they last.  Admission FREE if you bring items to swap, otherwise $10.  And if no one wants your stuff?  Unclaimed items will be donated to a Haitian relief effort and a local non-profit serving children in need.

While you’re there, be sure to check out NK’s bright, cheery and super affordable play space and their listing of classes including musica para mi, Cty Sounds Music Together, Sewing, Chess and Violin.  Tonya Lee Lewis (yes, wife of Spike) will be signing her books PLEASE, PUPPY, PLEASE and PLEASE, BABY, PLEASE on Saturday April 24th at 1p.m.  And their first ever “family date night” will take place on Friday April 30th from 5pm to 7pm featuring Karaoke and pizza.  GENIUS!
