Joyce Szuflita, our School Expert on the blog wrote in to tell us about some big school scoop. The G & T notification information is HOT off the presses (so to speak).

This is from the Office of Enrollment about G & T notification:
G & T letters were mailed last Friday and parents can expect a letter in the mail later this week.  If the family applied through the mail and does not receive a letter by Friday, please let Office of Student Enrollment know at [email protected] .

If a family submitted a Request for Test Form (RFT) online, an email was sent yesterday. If the family applied online and has not yet received an email and it is not in their junk/spam folder, please email [email protected] from the email address they used to submit their online Request for Test Form (RFT).

In either case, correspondence should include parent’s name on application, child’s first and last name as indicated on RFT and the child’s birthday.

School News:

The Greene Hill School has a new space next year and we reported that they have added a 3′s/4′s class in September along with their other classes for 3 to 8 year olds.

Luria Academy has moved to a beautiful new home in Prospect Heights and is expanding. They are having an open house on Wednesday 4/21 7 to 9pm at their new home, 238 St. Marks Ave. (between Vanderbilt & Underhill)

Montessori Day School, (as we reported awhile ago)- yup they have a new space too! and are having an open house to show it off on May 1 from 1 to 4 at 237 Park Place (@ Vanderbilt) They are currently still accepting applications. Contact: 718.398.2322

Park Slope Schoolhouse is also moving in the fall to a great new space on 5th Ave. in the south slope. They have a couple spots for threes. They also offer a nice sibling discount.
