Kids Club Thirteen's inaugural event!

This is the last weekend you can sign up for the great “2 for 1″ deal with Kids Club Thirteen. If you join as a “Founding Family” for $75 before May 10th, 2010 you receive two years of benefits for the price of one. (2 adults and up to 3 kids), The Club gives you access to exclusive Channel 13 sponsored events, including their first one at the Fleece Festival at the Prospect Park Zoo this Mother’s Day. Here is the details of their first event Fetch + Fleece Festival for this Sunday, May 9th:

Admission to the Zoo that day is free for Kids Club members (don’t forget to bring your temporary card). Arrive early for cool giveaways*, and get ready for a zoo day filled with animal adventures and fleecy fun!

Members-only exclusive activities from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. include:

In the Discovery Trail Classroom:

• 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. — Members-Only Meet & greet with Fetch! star Ruff Ruffman, plus crafts and activities
• 12:00 – 12:30 p.m. — Members-Only Animal Encounter with photo opportunities
• 12:30 – 1:15 p.m. — Explore Challenge along the Discovery Trail

Suggested Member Activities:

• 1:30 p.m. — Sheep Shearing in the Barn
• 2:00 p.m. — Sea Lion Feeding
