This is kindof a funny coincidence. I got an email from the dental office of Dr. Jackson and Dr. Bienstock last week saying that they had moved offices and then a phone call with the same info that we had to switch our kids’ appointments for that very reason. So, the short of it is: we see Dr. Lois Jackson as a dentist and love her- as many Brooklynites do. Now that the office is in Brooklyn Heights it will be that much harder to find parking, but easier for subway travel. They also have an office in Soho.

The office is now located at 16 Court Street between Remsen and Montague on the 22nd Floor, Suite 2211. Dr. Ian Lerner is the General Dentist in the office, and he does not see patients when Dr. Lois Jackson and Dr. Lisa Bienstock are there seeing patients.  The office is “brand new and beautiful, with a fabulous view of the Statue of Liberty!”

Dr. Lois Jackson is pretty well known in the neighborhood- she is recommended and respected by pediatricians and has a great manner with children. She was thorough and not alarmist. She didn’t suggest unnecessary appointments- and suggested we come in when our son was a little bit older.

I love how patient Dr. Jackson is with children. She doesn’t make them feel rushed and works her way into their mouths- whether they stand up or sit down. She is very calm and has a nice soothing tone that my children responded to. The office is friendly and she ran about 20 minutes late both visits.
