The Noguchi Museum is working hard to introduce more family friendly events into their programming. As The Noguchi is one of my favorite museums in NY, I don’t need a lot of reasons to go, but I’m happy they are doing more to entice families. This Saturday, July 24th is their annual Summer Family Day. Families are invited to explore the Museum galleries, create small sculptures, and design their own family sculpture gardens. Models of Japanese, Western, and mixed-influence gardens will be available to work with. The event will also feature live performances by Jukebox Radio (performances at 12:30pm and 1:30pm). Admission is FREE for families with children between the ages of 2 and 12. Reservations are not required.
