Fort Greene’s Music in the Grove
Music in the Grove Kids Series” in Fort Greene Park has become my favorite free summer activity- along with many other parents. The families keep rolling in for it….there have been up to 400 people at the sweet, easy-going music series. Don’t worry, it never feels crowded, just fun and mellow like Ft. Greeners generally are.
Tomorrow’s music is performed by Deedle Deedle Dees. The ultimate combination of melody, history, and hilarity, Lloyd Miller, Anand Mukherjee, Chris Johnson, and Ely Levin teach to young
and old alike. Come on down for an unforgettable lesson in rock and roll and the wonders of history. No permission slip required.
Details: Wednesday, July 28, 2010. 10am at Fort Greene Park, Brooklyn. The Grove. Located on the DeKalb side, south of the Martyrs Monument. Transportation: B,Q,R,J, M to DeKalb C to Lafayette G to Fulton
