Let’s Dance Brooklyn, a group that offers dance and movement classes, has changed their name to City Kids Dance after 5 years of being in business. The name switch is going to be hard for me…but I’ll get over it, they have….with a new logo and website .

They have a few events this weekend and one in early September to support their name change and fall registration. We have taken the parent-child class for a few semesters with Liz (pictured in turquoise above) and Dina (the founder). Our son loved the classes: the running, the obstacle courses, the dancing, and so did his friends that we recruited to his class. He began the classes at 2 years and that seemed like a good starting age for him. If he had started earlier I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t have understood the instructions as well. That might be just my kid…but that’s why taking a demo class beforehand is a good idea.

  1. I now have my own dance station I recently started. I am browsing the web for modern dancing steps or dancing lessons I can teach in my station. Appreciate the time you invested to share this.
