Do you have a kid who has a style all her/his own and wears it with the certainty that Carrie from “Sex in the City” wears her big hair bows and ruffled pants? If so, your child might just be a “Planet Awesome Kid”- that is, a kid that shows their “thing” by selecting just what they want to wear, and how they want to wear it. The blog, Planet Awesome Kid is a whole site dedicated to “celebrating the individualism and spirit of children around the world.”

Isn’t that a lovely message?

So, when they asked me to do an interview on their blog (not because I think I have “Planet Awesome Kids”- note to see top photo), but because I write for Brooklyn families, which just happens to be the hometown of PAK too!  I was not only flattered, but stumped for a full 2 months on how to answer their thought-provoking questions. Well, I finally finished it with a bit of prodding. They published it along with a nice “yee-haw” about our Brooklyn Baby Expo.

They call me “Brooklynite Dynamite”, which I hope my husband starts to call me too…. that is if I stop working so late at night. Click here to read the full interview.
