I just got notice that a new daycare called Zusin Family Daycare opened yesterday in Park Slope.  It’s in a great location- near Prospect Park and on the same block as Old Stone House.  I don’t know anything about this daycare except for the information below. If you decide to check it out, please let the rest of us know what you thought in the comments below.

The new daycare takes children ages 3 months up to 4 years old with a maximum capacity of 12 children. They have extended hours from 8am- 6 pm and also do a “parents night out” if you need a date night. You can select from part time or full time and register all year long.  Amenities they have include: organic breakfast, lunch and snacks, outdoor space and open most holidays. All caregivers are CPR certified.

  1. Hello,

Just wanted to leave a more recent post that our 3.5 year old daughter has been coming here for a few weeks part time (3x/wk). We found ourselves between nannies for a couple months and Anna was/is very flexible with our schedule and temporary needs. The space is very clean and the staff is warm and friendly. The fees are very reasonable and in addition, they offer breakfast and lunch: healthy, balanced meals, much of it, if not all, organic. Fyi – apparently they also just opened a second location more or less behind the current address, on 2nd Street. We’re very happy with this daycare.

  2. Thank you all for your feedback- it helps the other parents. Keep it coming!

  3. Hi,

I just called and had a really great conversation with Anna. Our son will be 4 months in August and we are considering sending him there part time. We will be going on a tour on Friday and I’ll be sure to post our impressions. Thanks for the 2 posts here – helped me decide to check it out.

    More to come!

  4. I went on a tour yesterday and have the same sentiments as you. Considering enrolling my son there part-time in September.

  5. Hi,
I took a tour at this daycare and met with one of the caregivers Anna.
She made a very good impression by the way she spoke and explained everything and also by the way she interacted with my one year old.She seems very gentle, caring and nurturing. Her experience in child care began in 2001. I’m considering enrolling my daughter there in June and would like to know if there is anyone who is considering that daycare as well. Would like to hear anyone’s thoughts about the place, maybe there’s something I missed. Thanks!
