Even though school is over there are fantastic classes in Brooklyn where kids can enjoy art, science and music -for free. One program we are really excited about is the Summer Arts Program through the Brooklyn Heights Association where kids over 4 years can enjoy a creative arts class and a science class. Conducted by teachers from Micro Museum of Cobble Hill, the program runs for seven weeks starting on Tuesday July 5th and is remarkably free to all participants. Check out the class offerings and enjoy a summer filled with fun and learning!

I’m going to be in Brooklyn for the summer and would love to teach an art class or do murals with youth. I’m an art teacher in Chicago and work for Chicago Public Schools. If you’re looking for an artist, please contact me at Nicolelombardi@yahoo.com.
Thank you!
