It’s not everyday that you get to see a pirate ship in Brooklyn..but you and your family can check one out at the Brooklyn IKEA Erie Basin Park this Saturday. This fun pirate festival, sponsored by the Urban Divers Estuary Conservancy is a great way to learn about environmental education and conservation all while exploring activities like a pirate costume contest, an ecocruise aboard a 32-foot Indian shipping canoe, a tour of the EnviroMedia Mobile, a nature and maritime museum on wheels and hear some live music. At this FREE event you will also find a gift shop, a relaxation station and the chance to win prizes!
