We love the Bronx Zoo for their educational programs, mission for global conservation and their amazing collection of over 4,000 animals and now you and your family can have a once-in-a-lifetime experience by having a sleepover at the Zoo! This Safari Sleepover, exclusively for MasterCard customers, is a cool opportunity to explore the zoo privately after hours.
This special sleepover includes private visits to exhibits and attractions, and more. The Zoo sleepover also includes a barbecue dinner (burgers, frankfurters, barbecued chicken, garden burgers, salad, assorted beverages, and dessert), the opportunity to meet special animal guests and the cool chance to pitch your tent steps away from the sea lion pool. During the event, families can also enjoy activities include a musical performance and play fun games like Animal Idol!, enjoy a nighttime marshmallow roast and a sing-along.
The next morning families can also enjoy breakfast, play zoo games, and enjoy a nature walk. Then you can spend as much time as you like exploring the zoo, including enjoying free rides and attractions.

Saturday Evening
Arrival and Check in for Overnight Guests

5:30–6:30 p.m.
Enjoy a delicious, family-friendly barbecue overlooking our Chilean flamingos at the Dancing Crane Pavilion. The menu includes burgers, frankfurters, barbecued chicken, garden burgers, salad, assorted beverages, and dessert. A guest performer will entertain with fun songs and stories.
Evening Activities
7:00–10:00 p.m.
Meet and greet some of our animals up close, explore our exhibits, and play fun games like Animal Idol!, Wild World of Sports, and more.
Late-Night Snacks and Sing-Along
10:00–10:30 p.m.
Enjoy a marshmallow roast, ice cream sundaes, fruit, and assorted beverages. Evening entertainment will also feature a sing-along with a popular entertainer, geared to families.
Bed Time!
10:30 p.m.
All participants will be escorted to the Astor Court campsite.
Sunday Morning
Breakfast
7:00–8:00 a.m.
Enjoy a full hot breakfast including eggs, French toast, bacon, sausage, assorted cereals, juice, coffee, tea, and milk.
Morning Activities
8:00–10:00 a.m
Enjoy a nature walk, a zoo quest, visits to some of our exhibits and attractions, and more. Feel free to stay throughout the day! Each family will be provided with Total Experience tickets to enjoy more of the zoo’s attractions at no additional cost.
