City Kids Dance

We are so lucky to live in Brooklyn where our kids have access to so many cultural activities and unique classes (Super Hero class anyone?),  that it can be difficult to decide which school to go to. One way to figure out what school to attend is to check out a trial and sample class where you and your children can see a sample performance, take a class, meet with instructors and go on a tour of a facility. With the fall sessions starting up many dance schools and kids spaces in Brooklyn are holding FREE sample classes. Here are some trial and demo classes that are taking place very soon!

Wednesday, August 17^th at 11:00am (Baby Sign Language) and 4:15 (Music Classes)
Free Music or Baby Sign Language Class
FasTracKids Enopi Center
FastTrac Kids of Brooklyn and Staten Island are holding two free trial classes to sample baby sign language and a music class.

Sunday, August 21^st from 12:30pm-4:30pm
Free Demo Classes at City Kids Dance
City Kids Dance is holding an open house where where you and your family can meet the dance instructors, attend a free demo class and register for fall classes to receive $25 off your total session. There will also be giveaways for a free t-shirt and balloons for the kids. The demos are scheduled for a 1/2 hour each and include 12:45pm- Dance & Tumble (mixed ages walking-up to 3 years), 1:30pm Ballet Babies (18 months-3 years), 2:15pm Super Hero (4-7 years) and 3pm Creative Ballet I (3.5-5 years).

Free Sample Classes at New York Kids Club

Taking a trial class at the New York Kids Club is a great way to sample classes and meet with instructors. This fall open house will allow you and you family to meet with the faculty and the staff, take free sample classes, tour the facilities, and register for the Fall Trimester. * NOTE: Pre-Registration is REQUIRED for Music & Movement and Nearly 3 classes. Open House at the Mark Morris Dance Center
The Mark Morris Dance Center is holding an open house where you and your family can enjoy free activities and learn more about the school. Activities include free children’s dance classes, free adult dance, fitness and wellness classes, an all-day bazaar, Dancing with MMDG company members and a free performance by Mark Morris Dance Group. Mocktail Mixer: Informational Session about Classes
Caribou Baby is holding a “mocktail hour” where families and expecting families can mingle, meet class instructors and get a sense of the classes offered. Instructors will also do a short demo, say a few words, hand out pamphlets, flyers and other promo materials.
