There are some special events this weekend that include music elements. One of my personal favorites- the India Parade- is a flurry of magical color, fabulous floats and the sounds of the sitar as the music echoes down the streets with the happy parade. (It does get crowded- note the crowds in the photo above). In Brooklyn, Jam on Dumbo in where else…DUMBO (!) will include an entire day of music along with vendors and activities.  Fringe Jr. takes place over the weekend and we have highlighted what sounds like a very cool performance that includes a mix of puppetry and laughs in the retelling of Goldilocks!

Thank you to Charles, our Music Listings Editor and part of the dynamic duo Fati & Charles called Abbasubi for the fabulous listings.
