The 9/11 Collection from CMA’s Permanent Collection of children’s artwork

It is hard to believe that the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 is fast approaching. As we remember the lives that were lost – we can also collectively come together for several memorials in the city. We will have a full list of some of the more meaningful ways that you can help your children understand it later this week.

But, one event that we think deserves special mention is the one at the Children’s Museum of the Arts. CMA is a fabulous institution that provides hands-on experiences for children with practicing artists and they are hosting a morning of remembrance with free art workshops for children and light brunch for families. Following, 9/11, CMA will also feature a selection of children’s artwork on display.
