Accommodation and Art Classes/Gallery in Cobble Hill are newly listed
We have a couple of new Directory Listings – both of which I am totally thrilled about.
I pass by the Muriel Guépin Gallery every day and have always been wowed by the art in there. (Muriel doesn’t know this, but I stopped in once very seriously inquiring about some art I fell in love with). One day when I sauntered by I noticed some brochures up about upcoming Children and Adult art classes, Workshops & and an Atelier Summer Art Program for kids. So, it was really exciting for me to find out that Muriel wanted to list in our Directory.
The gallery has created an ambitious art program for adults and children that can easily accommodate up to 20 art students. Classes for children start as young as 2.5 years and go up. Adult classes include such topics as “Pinhole Photography” and “Introduction to Drawing”.
The summer program at L’Atelier is a hands-on art program where children ages 6.5 years to 10 years will be working with art educators who are also professional artists. While each weekly session will have one artist teacher, L’Atelier will on occasion invite different artists guests to teach the children a specific medium from painting, to print making, photography, street art graffiti, sculpture or drama.
Their Birthday Parties are artistic parties with a specific theme and/or a medium to make your party unique (craft, drawing, painting, sculpture, performance) and they will create an original art project around it. I love the owl puppets below.
Here is what the Muriel Guépin Gallery’s Directory Listing looks like:
The other new listing is for a beautiful short-term accommodation in Cobble Hill. After looking at the photos of their place, I have some new decorating ideas: their color schemes are fantastic- and how about those hardwood floors! The Studio in Cobble Hill is a place for you or visiting relatives to enjoy living in an 1840 brownstone right in the best area of Cobble Hill.
Their studio apartment equipped with a queen bed overlooks the quiet backyard garden. Adjacent to it is a sitting room that can be rented additionally to form a suite. An extra bed is available in that room (twin size). In all, they can accommodate 3 people. The apartment is independent from the rest of the house. Once we get the keys, the place is like your own.
I just looked at their booking calendar- and they are pretty full up- so, make sure you reserve way in advance.
