If you have a film buff or two in your home, stop reading this and head to the BAMkids Film Festival site to buy your tickets now! You are already late as tickets went on sale 21 minutes ago as of today, Monday, January 8th. Okay, so, we’re being a bit dramatic, but seriously, these tickets do sell out fast.

The BAMkids Film Festival, now in its 15th year, returns to BAM Rose Cinemas on February 2 & 3. This year’s lineup, tailored for children ages 2-10, showcases a total of 76 films from 24 countries—with most films in their New York, US, or world premiere screening.  Highlights of the 2013 Festival include “Animation Extravaganza,” an all-animation program for ages 7-9, six international features, and two short film programs for the youngest audience members, ages 2-5.

Here is the schedule, which also includes two live music performances: one by the Deedle Deedle Dees and the other by Suzi Shelton.

10:10am Feature: Laura’s Star and the Dream Monsters (Ages 5—9)
10:15am Shorts Program: Animation Extravaganza (Ages 7—9)
11am Feature: Lionel (Ages 8—10)
12pm & 2:30pm Live Performance: The Deedle Deedle Dees (All ages)
12:15pm Feature: Alfie, the Little Werewolf (Ages 6—9)
12:30pm  Shorts Program: Maybe It’s Magic (Ages 8—10)
2pm  Shorts Program: Great Expectations (Ages 5—8)
Sunday, February 3
10am & 12pm Shorts Program: Circle of Friends (Ages 2—5)
10:10am  Feature: Ploddy the Police Car Makes a Splash (Ages 4—7)
10:15am  Shorts Program: Animation Extravaganza (Ages 7—9)
11am  Feature: Magic Silver 2 -The Quest for the Mystic Horn (Ages 7—10)
12pm & 2:30pm Live Performance: The Suzi Shelton Band (All ages)
