Brooklyn parents have an affinity for Dan Zanes– we have seen him up close at benefits, house parties and Halloween parades and also as just one of many fans at major concert houses.
He’s celebrating the release of his new holiday EP, ‘Christmas in Concord’ (available 11/29 on itunes) at City Winery in NYC on December 17 at 2pm! Dan Zanes and Friends will present a traditional holiday sing-a-long and dance party. It will be a musical celebration remembering the Antonson’s annual Christmas party – a seasonal highlight in Concord, New Hampshire from 1968-1989.
Zanes is a Grammy winning singer who plays many different genres of music (rock, folk, world, blues, even show tunes) and the songs espouse positive values like having fun, making music and caring about others. Kids love him and follow him all over Brooklyn and NYC.
