We ate here last week (about 3 weeks after it opened). The service couldn’t have been friendlier and they have great children plates (not chicken fingers and fries only thankfully). They had lots of options: lamb, burger, squash, beans etc. All small sized plates that are perfect for tasting and for a child. They have highchairs and some vintage bikes in the back that are a fun diversion for children. The atmosphere is casual and salvage. We liked it- it definitely has great promise.

Best thin pizza in the neighborhood. Vinnie, one of the owners, loves kids and has a couple of his own. He was happy to accomodate our mothers group of 16 every Tuesday for awhile. Weekend nights is a free for all with children running everywhere!

Subway: C to Lafayette Ave, G to Fulton St. Lunch, dinner (Tue–Fri), brunch. Average sandwich: $7. Cash only. High chairs.
This restaurant dishes all the favorites featured at its original Nolita spot—grilled corn, Cuban sandwiches and mango-and-jicama salad—but with a twist: The indoor/outdoor eatery uses solar power and environmentally-friendly biodegradable materials. Green designer Atom Cianfarani helped create the multipurpose space, which hosts children’s activities on weekends.-Time Out Kids

No doubt you’ve heard of the cheesecake, so thick that you practically need a knife to cut it, but there’s much more to this landmark diner. Sit in an enormous vinyl booth and enjoy old-school service from waiters sporting bow ties and vests. Wash down the huge portions with an old-fashioned egg cream.
