Puppets Take Over Brooklyn Stage For Storytelling
If your family loves the classic tales of “Caps for Sale” and “The Three Billy Goats Gruff”, imagine how fun it will be for them to see the stories played out on stage. Hudson Vagabond Puppets will perform the two stories in an exclusive Brooklyn engagement at On Stage at Kingsborough later this month.
In Caps for Sale, traditional bunraku puppets perform the much-beloved story of the cap salesman who falls asleep under a tree and wakes up without his wares and in The Three Billy Goats Gruff, three increasingly large goats attempting to cross a bridge in defiance of a fearsome ogre. Meet the cast in the lobby after the show.
All family shows are recommended for ages 3 and up.
Other Family Series presentations: Circo Comedia(12/9/12), The Paper Bag Players Saddles and Sunshine (3/2/13), and Tall Stories of London’s The Gruffalo (4/28/13).
