Shawn Setaro has been giving my 12 year old bass lessons for several months now. Shawn arrives totally prepared, with music on CDs, his own bass and amp, and a plan for each lesson. Since he is teaching Dante the music Dante is interested in, he is keeping his interest. His prices are very reasonable and he tends to get enthused and run over by a few minutes!

Andrew is great with kids and has found a way to introduce music to the youngest of children. He teaches piano, voice, guitar, songwriting and early music in private lessons. His curriculum uses a combination of Kodaly, Dalcroze Eurythmics, Suzuki and his own inventions. Andrew has a Bachelors of Music from NYU, with additional studies at Juilliard and Mannes. Besides teaching, he has been a composer for film, television and theater for the last 20 years.

Andrew Ingkavet, composer and parkslope dad, has a wonderful way with children. He is teaching my son piano and my son comes home enthusiastic. I studied guitar with him a while back and it was wonderful. When working with kids, Andrew knows the importance of a sticker ;-) He also teaches voice and guitar.
