You might hear a traditional drum like this- the "Dhol"- at the Eid Celebration with Dance, Music, and Hand Painting at Queens Library

Charles, our Listings Editor, has collected the best picks for family ears for this weekend. He reports, “the show at J&R Jr. is certainly the big show of the weekend but the Ramadan and Bengali celebrations and Chinese Opera show in Queens really intrigue me.  There’s also the Carroll Park show which I have a real fondness for.  I love that playground.” (As do many!).

Have a happy weekend!
