If applying to a private school keeps you up late at night, then meeting admissions directors in a less intimidating environment might be just your thing.

Next week, a select group of Brooklyn and Manhattan tuition-based schools will get together for a panel called, “NYC Private School Admissions: Up Close and Personal”,  where admissions directors will discuss the application process.  Nursery through Upper School Admissions will be covered.

The panel is presented by The Word of Mom, a Brooklyn-based company, founded by Crystal Bobb-Semple. She is the former owner of the well-loved Brownstone Books (2000-2010). The upcoming panel is the latest version of her former in-store workshop for her customers who were searching for educational options.

Invited presenters include admission directors from Saint Ann’s, Avenues, Berkeley Carroll, Blue School, Brooklyn Friends, Brooklyn Heights Montessori, Brooklyn Waldorf, Churchill, Friends Seminary, Leman Manhattan, Collegiate, International School of Brooklyn, Little Red, Packer, Poly Prep, Spence, The Green Hill School, Rivendell, The Speyer Legacy School, Smart City Kids, Oliver,  and Prep for Prep.
