You may not need to travel as far anymore to satiate your Charleston Chew and Red Vines fixes. Sugar Shop, a vintage inspired candy store in Cobble Hill, quietly opened its doors last week to showcase its colorful delights. The shelves and tables are stocked with nostalgic candy like Turkish Taffy and Chunky but also with the newest Jelly Belly flavors.
If you can’t make up your mind, you can sample it all from their 150 self serve sweets from gummy to taffy.
The owners plan on having a weekly story time, art and music classes which we will list on our Calendar page as they get scheduled.
Want to indulge your darlings with a party in the shop? They can do it all in their striped party room: Veruca Salt would be right at home.
The shop is located next to Families First, which means the kiddie traffic is going to be good!
Their grand opening is this weekend and will include face painting.

This is so unhealthy. Can’t believe parents are excited about this shop.
Thanks so much for putting this on my radar. I absolutely love the look of it and it seems right up our alley!
I love your blog by the way!
All my best,
Michelle Clark
