A new urgent care center in Park Slope has been getting very good reviews on the parent list serves and on Yelp. Premier Care of Park Slope has been getting kudos for efficient and thoughtful care for everything from sore throats to broken arms.  I’m glad to have another urgent care center to include in our Marketplace. I added it to our list of 26 urgent care facilities, hospitals and birthing centers. There are two more urgent care facilities worth mentioning: NY Methodist’s After Hours Pediatric Center is a good place to go for an ear ache or anything else that requires less than an emergency room visit. The second is a bit of a drive for North Brooklyners but has gotten great reviews from our readers: SUNY Downstate at Bay Ridge.

We hope that none of you have to visit one of these EVER, but just in case…..here’s our list!

  1. We went to 2 urgent care centers from this list today for a simple UTI. The Kings Highway Center mislead us on the phone, and didn’t let us know that an 18 year old was pediatric. They wouldn’t see her.
So we got back into the car and headed way out of our area to the Premier Care Center of Park Slope. We were greeted immediately, processed quickly and were done within a 1/2 hour! They were courteous, efficient and prompt. We were very impressed.
