Veep 17: Special days off
Here’s a bit from Sarah about the shoot:
Allison and I had a wonderful chat on our stroll through Brooklyn Heights. It turns out, we have the same alma mater – GO BLUE!! Allison shared with me the story of how she and her mom would have special days off, just the two of them, to relax and explore. She had started the same tradition with her daughter Avery, and I was lucky enough to spend part of it with them for our shoot.
Names: Allison and Avery
Neighborhood: Brooklyn Heights
Ages of Kids: 10 months
2 Favorites Places in Brooklyn to hang out with your kids: Brooklyn Botanic Garden and anywhere that has a view of the Brooklyn Bridge
Special interests / hobbies / passions (of yours): Visiting the Carroll Gardens and Borough Hall farmers markets and cooking with the ingredients we find there; exploring Brooklyn on foot (and by stroller); trying new restaurants
Anything you would like to say to your kids? I love seeing the world through your eyes. Thank you for making me looking at things in new and different ways.
