The Carroll Park Concert Series kicks off another rocking’ season June 13th with the Bubble Do Beatles Unplugged. The series of 4 free concerts throughout the summer, featuring bands for the whole family is always a “sure thing” activity to do with the kids. All the concerts start at 4 pm, shine only. Check their website on show day for status.
This Sunday’s peformers, Bubble Do Beatles Unplugged, is an original indie pop band from NYC, founded in 1994. In 2005 Bubble performed the Beatles’ Revolver for classic album night at Arlene’s Grocery. It was so much fun Bubble decided to perform Beatles music for adults and their children. Bubble Do Beatles was born.
There will be food and crafts before the concerts from 3:30 to 5:30. This weekend there will be face painting Gymstars, as well as food and drinks provided by Moxie Spot, so bring a bit of pocket money! All proceeds benefit The Committee to Improve Carroll Park.
*Suggested donations of $5 per family will be very helpful to the park group, though the event is free.
