This Saturday and Sunday, stop by for some tasty treats at Taste of Brooklyn at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. With dish names like “Couscous on the Loose” and ¡Viva la Salsa!, some of the pickiest eaters might be enticed to try new foods. You can collect new recipes at workshops and put them in your personal recipe book to take home. Surprise food vendors will be on hand to “chef” up special local treats. Sample sandwiches from Master Baker, Don Paco Lopez Jr. (from Don Paco Lopez Bakery – a highlighted permanent bakery in their World Brooklyn exhibition) on Sunday, August 29th.
If you’re feeling full, you can indulge in crafting pasta paintings instead.
