The Rec room where the play group takes place
The Fort Greene/Clinton Hill Cooperative Preschool has been running a popular playgroup in their spanking new school for the last two years. It’s provided a much-needed space for parents and caregivers to bring their kids in the winter and on inclement days since the other neighborhood playgroup at Lafayette Church has become increasingly difficult to secure a spot. When we first moved here four years ago, the Lafayette Church playgroup was enough for the neighborhood, but not anymore. With the baby boom in Brooklyn in 2007, there’s a huge need for family amenities. It’s great that the Cooperative Preschool has helped provide some.
The Co-op School offers both a morning and afternoon play group for children ages 0-3 years. You can go 5 days a week and starts January 10th. Don’t wait too long to sign up.
