Musica Para Mi offers free demos with instruments, song and fun
Living in Brooklyn, we are so lucky to have numerous classes available to our kids – ranging from music, dance to movement and even Capoeira! But along with all of these exciting classes may sometimes feel as if we have too many choices – making it difficult to decide where exactly our children should go. Many schools realize this and have started to offer free or deeply-discounted courses so that you and kids can actually test out a class before you fork over the big bucks. Here are some trial and demo classes taking place in January so that you can better decide where to take refuge this winter.
City Kids Dance Free Trial Class
Both our son and daughter loved the parent-child classes here. We’ve been taking classes here for 3 years! (It used to be “Let’s Dance Brooklyn”)

Child’Space Method Free Trial Classes
“Learn hands-on techniques of the Child’Space Method for supporting your baby’s development and for becoming even more in-tune with each other. These hands-on skills increase babies’ physical awareness (proprioception), stimulating the early brain-mapping that is the foundation for motor, psychological, social and cognitive development. This class has helped hundreds of babies to become comfortable from head to toe in tummy-time, (even the most ardent complainers!) and has helped many parents feel more confident and capable in their parenting.”

Mamas In Motion, Baby & Me Postnatal Fitness Free Demo
This program is coming to Move With Grace in FortGreene/Clinton Hill. Bring your baby, meet other moms, and have fun while getting back into fighting shape after giving birth. This very unique class includes a specific combination of strength training, low impact cardio, core conditioning, Pilates, and flexibility movements especially for post-natal mothers.Class sizes are small so you get more one on one attention.
