Writing fiction class for parents

I’ve heard parents tell some amazing fictional stories to their parents- whether at dinnertime or bedtime. Maybe you are one of those? Or maybe you have an ideal for a short story or novel brimming inside and need a little nudging to get it done (not to mention time!). Look no further, this is a great opportunity for you to get those fabulous stories, ideas and thoughts down.

Starting later this month, Ditmas Park Fiction will be taught by Rachel Sherman. Welcoming both beginners, as well as writers who currently have a novel or short story in progress, the fiction class is run as a workshop to get you – or keep you – writing. The class will include individual weekly written critiques from Rachel, and in-class discussions of your work. Focus on structure, voice, character and plot, all tailored to what you are writing at the time. There is no need to have anything ready in advance, and any subject matter or genre is acceptable.

Details:
The class will be held Mondays, 7-9pm
